This Israeli Doctor Is called the "Father Of Cannabis. Find Out How he Helped Discover CBD And The Endocannabinoid System.

Meet Raphael Mechoulam, an Israeli researcher that has been at the forefront of bringing cannabis to the masses. He has studied cannabis for decades and because of him CBD became popular.
He found the link between CBD for treating seizures which led to the pharmaceutical called Epidiolex which is currently approved by the FDA to treat seizures.
Recently, his research points to a strong link for using CBD to treat Anxiety and Depression. This news is not shocking to anyone who currently takes CBD, since most people will tell you that CBD does some pretty amazing things to lower anxiety.
The reason I find this interesting, is because within a couple of years pharmaceutical companies will start coming out with CBD for anxiety and it will probably be very expensive.
In my opinion, the biggest discovery credited to Raphael Mechoulam is the Endocannabinoid system. In the past people knew about the effects of THC but they didn't understand how it worked and interacted with our bodies. In the 90's Raphael Mechoulam discovered that all of our bodies contain an endocannabinoid system which regulates many important and vital functions in or body.
The Endocannabinoid system is not something new, but rather, it is something we are each born with. It is a natural part of our body.
This monumental discovery showed us how certain conditions can be treated with cannabis and why it worked so well.
Our bodies can only produce 2 main cannabinoids, one of them is produced in a mothers breast-milk to help sooth a baby and help them feed better.
Since our bodies can't produce cannabinoids, by taking CBD, like CBD oil, it helps boost your endocannabinoid system.
This exciting research is very much credited to Rephael Mechoulam who spent his life studying natural plants.
