What do you do when you don't want to get out of bed

Its tough, some days you feel like you are on top of the world and you feel this confidence surging through your veins but some days you feel like all your insecurities are exposed to the world and everyone is scrutinizing you.

How do you get out of the funk?

First of all before you start thinking of how to get out of it, you need need to understand how you got here in the first place.

It is totally normal to have ups and downs, it is part of our natural growth cycle. We would never aspire to grow if we never experienced any downs. The key is to use the experience when you are down to propel you and not to beat you.

We never just experience a "down", it is always a progressive build up and the best way to start getting out of a funk is by identifying key markers that are letting you know you are heading for a down experience.

Once you understand that, you can stop it while it is progressing by either doing positive actions or associating with any kind of positive, such as a positive friend, a workout, a comforting  relaxing activity but above all the strongest positive action you can do is helping out someone else that is down.

Helping someone else is the best way to experience an "out of the box" perspective on your situation.

When you feel like the king of the world and life is all peachy, I want you to take a very strong mental picture of the moment. I want you to pay attention about how you are feeling, how your demeanor when you are happy, how you convey confidence and feel the moment.

When you are able to isolate the moment and pull it up in your memories, this is the best way to get yourself out of a funk when you feel like nothing else can get you out of bed.

By remembering what you are like when you experience positivity and confidence, you are telling yourself that you choose who you want to be.
